Victoria J. Marsick, Ph.D. is an associate professor of adult and continuing education at Columbia University, Teachers College. She directs doctoral programs in adult education and an M.A. program in workplace education, training, and development. Dr. Marsick holds a Ph.D. in adult education from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.P.A. in international public administration from Syracuse University. She serves on the Research Committee of the American Society for Training and Development and is on the University Council for Research in HRD. Dr. Marsick has authored a number of books on learning in the workplace.
