Henry P.
Sims, Jr., Ph.D. is professor of management and organization at the
University of Maryland and former director of the business Ph.D. program. He was the
founding academic director of the human resources management program at The Pennsylvania
State University. Dr. Sims' special areas of research are managerial leadership and
self-managed teams. His research in leadership and teams has been published in more than
100 articles. Dr. Sims is co-author of SuperLeadership: Leading Others to Lead Themselves
and Business without Bosses.
