Ronald E. Zemke

Ron (1942-2004) was president of Performance Research Associates, Inc., a Minneapolis-based consulting firm specializing in service quality audits and service management programs. Mr. Zemke founded PRA in 1972 to conduct organizational effectiveness and productivity improvement studies for business and industry. Mr. Zemke authored many books, including the popular Knock Your Socks Off Service™ series and was also a well-known business writer. As Senior Editor of Training magazine, Contributing Editor of the Positive Employee Practices and Training Directors' Forum newsletters, and columnist for AMA President's Newsletter, he covered the emergence of the nation's growing service sector as well as other major issues in American business and management.
