POSITION: Contract Facilitator
Located in King of Prussia, PA, HRDQ is seeking an independent contract trainer with excellent stand-up facilitation skills to work with our delivery team. This individual will report directly to the V.P. of Development. He or she will facilitate HRDQ off-the-shelf programs for clients. This position is not responsible for selling. The facilitation of HRDQ programs requires certification, which will be provided as part of orientation. A willingness to invest time, both up front and ongoing, in learning the product and tailoring program content to meet client needs is a must.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and energetic presenter, insightful facilitator of group learning experiences, and exceptionally resourceful and innovative with regard to creative training initiatives. Successful candidates will also possess a thorough and ongoing knowledge of industry trends, an ability to uncover and understand client issues and needs, and an ability to match HRDQ’s training solutions as pathways to meeting client objectives.
Job requirements include:
- a strong track record of at least ten years of training, facilitating workshops and professional services selling experience;
- the capacity to deliver engaging presentations to clients in person and by phone;
- a willingness to travel both domestically (often) and internationally (infrequently);
- an advanced degree;
- an ability to work in a team environment and respond positively to feedback, be personable and upbeat, be professional and pleasant, and motivated to succeed;
- considerable practice in and knowledge of the corporate training industry;
- a willingness to work as an independent contractor..

INTERVIEWING PROCEDURES

POSITION: Inside Sales Representative
A full-time position is immediately available for an experienced
telephone salesperson to join our sales team. You will be responsible
for continued growth and development of your own territory of HRDQ
customers. This position is supported by significant marketing
initiatives that generate new customers and prospects. Cold calling is
NOT required. HRDQ’s client list is an extensive and sophisticated
group, comprised of training and human resource executives and
professionals. Your capacities to maintain relationships, provide
product benefits, up sell/cross sell products, and secure sales
opportunities will be key responsibilities. This is NOT a scripted
telemarketing position.
Successful candidates will have:
- a strong track record of 3-5 years of
telephone sales experience in a business to business market,
- an ability to work in a team
environment and respond positively to feedback, be personable and
upbeat, be professional and pleasant, and be motivated to succeed,
- experience with Microsoft Word,
Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
College or advanced degree is preferred,
but not required.
The starting compensation for this position, comprised of a lucrative
base salary plus commission and bonus, is commensurate with skills,

POSITION: Instructional Designer
HRDQ is currently seeking both full-time and independent contract creative Instructional Designers to join our Research & Development Team. You will be collaborating with internal team members as well as external authors and customers to create engaging and thought provoking soft skills training resources. Typical product formats include learning assessments, activities, games, and workshops. You will participate in the entire product development process -- from conducting literature searches and developing training models to writing and testing participant materials and leader guides. You will also contribute to the continual improvement of established HRDQ programs and products, as well as respond to client needs for adaptations of our materials. This is a hands-on job with a lot of opportunity for creativity and personal growth! Minimal travel may be required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researching, designing, and developing training resources as part of a project team, including internal and external SMEs, product managers, graphics designers, and sales and marketing staff. (25%)
- Maintaining new and existing products through ongoing data collection, surveys, focus groups, additional research/testing, and project team input. (25%)
- Customizing existing content and designing/developing custom content for HRDQ clients. (25%)
- Developing and maintaining client relationships by assisting sales with inquiries. (15%)
- Conducting training and certification sessions. (5%)
- Writing articles and assisting marketing on content issues. (5%)
REQUIREMENTS

- Master's Degree in instructional design.
- 3 + years of experience as an id consultant or employee in a larger organization in soft skills id work.
- Solid research and writing skills.
- Group facilitation and classroom presentation experience.
- Evidence of soft skills instructional design work before interview.
- Knowledge of experiential learning and materials design.
- Knowledge of basic statistics. Specific understanding of SPSS very helpful.
- Consulting experience, published articles, and presentation experience at major industry conferences a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
Research Skills: Proficient in conducting and summarizing literature searches. Understanding of and ability to work with quantitative and qualitative data.
Writing Skills: Clear, engaging, and organized writing style; ability to write for a variety of reader levels.
Computer/Internet Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SPSS (strongly preferred) or other statistical software package. Must be comfortable and confident using a PC and the Internet. General knowledge and/or experience with e-learning a plus.
Presentation Skills: Confident and interactive speaking and presentation style.
Personal Skills: Creative and forward thinking. Ability to work in a team environment and a willingness to respond positively to feedback. Interpersonal and communication skills for handling customers and authors both by phone and in person. Ability to handle multiple projects. Motivated, “can do” attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make warm calls to our US client base (businesses, universities, and non-profit organizations), engaging training managers, independent consultants, and other training professionals in discussions about HRDQ’s wide product line.
- Welcome new clients aboard and introduce them to HRDQ’s programs and workshops.
- Uncover needs for one day and multi-day programs and workshops.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for business development.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of B2B telemarketing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High-energy, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for outbound calling
- Instinctive talent for selling
