"One of the keys to an engaging learning experience is to create and sustain an interactive flow between the facilitator and the learners. My role is to be a “guide on the side” versus a “sage on the stage,” so I encourage active participation and involvement. This creates an atmosphere where participants automatically begin to relate the learning to “real life” experiences, whether on a personal or professional level. The personal insight that develops from the interactive experience makes the impact — and the results — of the learning much greater."
