Two new one-day programs make it easy for trainers to help individuals become more effective negotiators and influencers. Negotiating Win-Win Solutions gives individuals the opportunity to develop and practice collaborative negotiating skills. Participants pinpoint their typical negotiating styles, recognize five negotiating styles, learn five factors to consider when preparing for any negotiation, develop the essential interpersonal skills to use for collaborative negotiating, and discover how to apply the skills of collaborative negotiating to real-life situations.

Influencing with Assertive Communication helps individuals hone assertive communication skills. Participants gain an understanding of the four different styles of communication used to influence others, identify personal influence style, learn why an assertive communication style is most effective, and master the ASERT process to solve organizational issues.

Designed to adapt to time constraints, each HRDQ Program can be presented in one day or two half-days. Other One-Day Program titles include Working Through Organizational Change, Creating Team Synergy, Supervising with Confidence, and Building the Communication Bridge.

The program’ comprehensive Facilitator Guides include reusable support materials as well as related assessments, games, simulations, and activities. Each comes with a CD-ROM, containing a Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation and reproducible masters.

Participant Guides include pressure-sensitive response forms, the corresponding assessments, interpretive information, self-reflection and skill practice activities, as well as action planning.
