Team-Work & Team-Roles

The purpose of Team-Work & Team-Roles is to help team members understand how their preferences for different parts of a task affect teamwork. The Inventory also helps show how team members can best modify their behavior (the team-roles they play) to accomplish their tasks. The 18-item assessment asks participants to rank order sets of 4 statements using a rating scale that describes their manner of working in a team. The following items were taken from the participant booklet:

Rating Scale

5 = Best Describes You
3 = Second Best Describes You
2 = Third Best Describes You
1 = Least Like You

Note: A rating of "4" is not used.
